There have been many talented rappers from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) throughout the years who have made a significant contribution to Canadian hip-hop.
J Shiltz has already made an impact, especially with his latest release
"Still Standing". The album dropped in May, and it features some well known underground rappers, such as
A.G. (of
D.I.T.C.),
Rapper Big Pooh and
Rich Kidd, among others. A plethora of producers were involved with the album, which has an old school vibe. I highly recommend the track
"From The Soul", it reminds me of
Pete Rock's production style. It features
Junia-T, and it's produced by
Relic. Check out
